@RuthFlaherty@edutooters So I guess it depends on what drives the compulsion in vampires. I think it's social, rather than say linguistic, in terms of the invitation. You own your home but ownership only exists as a concept in the context of participation in society, therefore a higher social power explicitly compelling access would trump your right to deny it (or at least not grant it).
