My grandparents' Pomeranian sandwich

I lived with my grandparents for a time a few years back, and they had a Pomeranian named Ginger. She was a little shit, honestly, but she brought my grandparents some happiness, and for that I tolerated her. She wasn't all bad, just ill-trained (and a bit ill-tempered).

There was one thing she did I always regret not being able to record, and that was how she slept on my grandparents' bed. When she ordered my grandparents to bed (and she was very specific about what time they were to go to bed), she began by sleeping on the pillows between their heads. But as the night wore on, Ginger would shift positions, and oftentimes she would work to get herself sandwiched between two pillows beneath my grandmother's head, with only her little face peeking out to watch the hallway.

She only ever did it while my grandmother was in bed, never tried to squeeze inbetween pillows any other time. Countless times I walked past their bedroom in the middle of the night and got spooked by two beady little eyes peeking out from the pillows reflecting the glow of the digital clock watching me beneath my grandmother's snoring head.

I never did manage to get a picture of her like that, sadly. My ipad camera didn't have a suitable flash, and whenever she saw me hanging around for any period of time she would wiggle her way free and follow me about. But I thought this community might get a kick out of the story/habit.
