Awesome list of Dutch roasters

I’ve been ordering and visiting some of these roasters at their businesses. They’re small, and very knowledgeable. They’re worth a visit or an order to test them out.

Koffiestation - GroningenSmall roasters that deliver by bike in the city of Groningen. They have a great starter pack and tasting pack.

Black and Bloom - GroningenWinner of several awards with a very cozy shop near the university. Also sells great baked sides.

Fascino Coffee - WeertMedium sized roaster with a great consistent set of beans that you can rely on.

Kahawa Pakaya - NorgSpeciality coffee from the eastern countries in Africa. Great flavours in pretty packaging.

Giraffe Coffee - RotterdamRoasters with an enormous passion for coffee, and you can taste it.

Moyee - AmsterdamHip and vibrant packaging, they sell a coffee subscription that uses a different microlot every time. Their regular coffee is very reliable and well balanced.

Rum Baba - AmsterdamBold and unique coffee flavours. Delivers by bike in Amsterdam.

jochem,

Check out white label coffee in Amsterdam. Only single origin, mainly light roasted. They offer reusable containers with a deposit.

Black and Bloom is my favorite, especially in the afternoon after doing some shopping in the Grotemarkt. The owner is very friendly, he talks about coffee beans with a passion. Highly recommended.

Moyee can also be bought at Albert Heijn. Is that the same roast/quality? I quite like the single origin.

Yeah that’s the same. They only stock a single type of them at my local store, but that’s a small one

thzihdd,

Excellent, thank you. Planning a trip to Groningen with the family this summer. Gives me some POI that are actually interesting for myself ;)

yiftizur,

Also worth trying out Henry’s Coffee in Amsterdam

Great list! Some that weren’t on my radar yet that I’ll have to try. I’d add Friedhats, expensive but tasty and Manhattan coffeeroasters to the list.

scorchingheat,

In Amsterdam: I get my daily espresso coffee beans from Five Ways, and whenever I feel like taking it up a notch I try a bag from Uncommon. Highly recommend both.

I’ll put them on my ordering list for the next bags. Five ways looks very hip :)
