My cat loves to be held! She does get tired of it after a while and will let you know when that time comes, but if you give her access to your shoulder - basically how people hold babies to burp them - she could be content to be held there for hours. She also lets me hold her in pretty much any way I want for a little while before she gets tired of it. And she always comes back for more.
I had a cat like that. She was 100% stupid baby at all times. I tried on a fabric baby carrier/wrap and put her in it to see how it worked before my first human baby was born, and she was completely content in it.
