The new Arctic offshore patrol ship will sail through Canadian Arctic waters over the next three weeks and will patrol the Northwest Passage as part of an annual Arctic security operation.
The Harry DeWolf was delivered to the Royal Canadian Navy in 2020, and was the first ship launched as part of the national shipbuilding strategy.
I remember 15 years ago hearing in school about sea ice melt and arctic sovereignty and everyone trampling over our territory. I’m glad that finally we’re building good new ships.
