I have finished reading A Memory Called Empire. I am angry at this book. It decided to become quite good for the last 100 pages. And now I want to read the follow-up. 😂
I give it 3.25 Stars out of five. It was an uneven, but overall enjoyable read for me. I don't think I'll immediately jump to the next one though.
@weebdeluxe@bookstodon Good science fiction to me says something about the human condition at the same time it speculates on how social and tech changes affect humans, both as groups and individuals. I think the first part of this book did the former, but not the latter.
