I have enjoyed many fantastic Pride and Prejudice retellings this year.

Most recently (i.e. yesterday)

A fantasy Pride and Prejudice world with Fae, magic, scandal, twists and turns, action, villains, grand loves, and all the yearning you could want. Absolutely loved it.

I also loved how long it was - I finish books so quickly and this had a story I could really sink my teeth into.

@meshell @bookstadon How lovely to hear, especially when I'm finishing up a new Pride & Prejudice fantasy! I'm thrilled that you loved it.

@AbigailReynolds @bookstadon I look forward reading it! Pride and Prejudice fantasy variations are becoming a major favourite!

I also finished Dear Nameless Stranger by Jeannie Peneaux last night.

Which was a partially epistolary variation and I was actually rather delighted by the whole thing.

Felt like a fairly fresh take, and I liked that other sisters got a chance to exist and become real full people, but everything still felt true to character.
