Seen taking off out of a (hawthorn?) tree in Upstate NY. Shot at ISO 2000, 200mm focal length, f6.3, and shutter speed of 1/1000. Did a little post processing to brighten the photo up.
Red Kite, Berkshire UK. It might have been some distance away sitting on the top of a decent sized tree, but it did not like a camera pointed in its direction! Still, I got this photo before it circled away....

I spent a few hours shooting four Osprey over one of our local harbors. It’s such a sight to see them pull fish right out of the water!
I’ve been so bummed out because I haven’t been seeing the usual number of Osprey as I did last year....
Merlins kinda breed in my area, but you’re more likely to find them during migration. I believe we found three on this day....
