intensely_human, 8 months ago Lots of appliances implement the Whisper protocol, which is like zigbee but with lower power requirements if I recall correctly. I think there’s also something about how whisper is a true mesh network whereas zigbee requires dedicated hubs. I could be very wrong about this.
