I mean it’s the painter of that famous Nighhawks piece so he’s not really known for drawing happy people ^__^ I really love this, I think the texture and colours of the trees and field / meadow is really good and it has this weird airy, surreal feel.
This piece currently on display in the national gallery of art in D.C. The exhibit is an interesting one on art capturing American life and I felt like this piece fit well.
