After we've seen how split humans are about the situation and Janeway couldn't ask Neelix and Tuvok for their respective opinions on this matter, it would probably an interesting case for Vulcan philosophers.

Divided humans? Maybe among the viewing audience.

At one point admits that and would probably lay down their lives for others.

When a solution is found to separate and is making her decision, Tuvix goes to all of the crew members including Tes that have become his friends, desperate to save his life, and all of them pretty much turn on him.

That was freakin' hard to watch.

@kcarr2015 @allstartrek Absolutely. And just because, Tuvok and Neelix would lay down their lives for members of the crew, one cannot just that as sole justification for killing(!) Tuvix because he combines both Neelix and Tuvix without also acknowledging the opposite: That Tuvok and Neelix would let Tuvix live.

@kcarr2015 @shaedrich @allstartrek You could just see on Kes's face where her mind was going while Tuvix was asking for help. That was kind of gutting.
