@JeremyMallin @actuallyautistic I have a towelling bathrobe made of non plushie towe fabric. I put it on after the shower and it dries me excellently without the need for rubbing. All I really need to run is my shins and feet and I'm done. It also solves my problem of being cold when I dry myself with other types of towel

@JeremyMallin @actuallyautistic i treasure my 20 year old towels. They work much better the older they are.
Bonus points for being just the right amount of scratchy, for the perfect after shower experience.

@JeremyMallin @actuallyautistic Also, lots of people use fabric conditioner on towels when they wash them - and, er, it makes them water-repellent!

I buy crappy scrapy towels from a discount store that seem much better, oddly.
