@housepanther @actuallyautistic I think there are numerous external societal pressures to be 'merry', which with a change in the amount of light you're getting (taking your vitamin D? it helps) combine to make it harder to be nominally cheerful. Poverty doesn't help, if that's your situation; neither does being alienated from family or not having much in the way of family to celebrate with. Common problem (me, too), and I don't think people are any less prone than allistic folks.
