I've noticed similar things ... and I've also noticed a huge difference between online and in person on these same issues. It's been reassuring to me to think the negative online spaces are not indicative of these movements irl, like it helps me disregard the bananas bullshit to think of the meaningful, nuanced conversations I've had with activists in person. At least to know they are possible in different spaces @actuallyautistic
