I take strong exception to Toxic Positivty in the post I'm writing. The phrase "Friedrich Nietzsche ist untoter," means he's "undead." Like a philosophical zombie...

and know it to be terrible advice. Following that quote is to assign oneself an early death, like what happened to my dad, and to me, chronic fatigue and carpal tunnel. Pain that doesnt kill me can disable me, for the rest of my life.
I miss drawing so much. Carpal tunnel denies me my primary joy. Pain was the red flag I was intimidated to ignore.

One thing that troubled me about the lines used in Captain Marvel was how current figurative speech was being used in an era that did not have saying like "My Bad"
"My bad" comes from a movie and was not 'a saying' back in 80's era of time.
Also, alien languages understanding figurative speech threw me off, "steal your thunder" is very human.

@johnnyprofane1 If you can find the longer version, directors cut, you actually get to learn of Costner's character name, as well as another name on a plaque, both filmed, both left on cutting room floor.
Mine was pro grade.. then the software upgraded and I havent afforded a better tablet since.
Damn, the joy we lost when pressured to comply.
Arthritis and vision lost comes naturally afaik, having arthritis myself, not affecting my drawing ability, and my vision blurring due to pain medication I take regularly.
I could draw again, but I dont have the tools. Not enough funds to accommodate me to draw again.

I actually sit there and let everything be blurry instead of resorting to a stronger pair of glasses. I don't want my eyes getting 'used to' a higher strength because if I do that sooner or later I will require a higher strength. It's a never ending battle. My new hobby is doing my nails.
I am perpetually sad I never got anywhere with what I could produce when I had the tools. Not having the right social skills has been the main barrier to a better overall life for me.
We are often sad depressed induviduals, we could do more if we were not treated like spaced-out baboons. I'll only speak for myself.
