Thoughts of self-harm to intentionally terminate my sense of hearing. Prosthetics to turn off my hearing with the flip of a switch. The horror of a continuous, life-long case of ear worms -- even in my sleep! How I know every dog in the neighborhood by its bark.
Ice picks are usually what I daydream about, but a screwdriver would get the job done.
