Annuity rates depend upon your state of health and your lifestyle. For example, if you smoke, they'll pay out more each year in the expectation that you won't be claiming for as long as a non-smoker would.

Autism is not good for life expectancy, although I'm sure the impact depends on the particular autistic characteristics you have. For example, if you were unable to communicate your health needs to a doctor, you'd get worse healthcare as a result.

As always with life expectancy, lifestyle changes make a huge difference to your chances. You are not predestined for an early grave.

Also understand that, the older you are now, the older you can expect to be when you die. If you're six months younger than the age given in that article and you're in reasonable health, you can expect to sail past it without noticing it.
