Upset with an autistic person and want them to apologise to you, you’ll have more success if you tell them why you’re upset instead of acting passive aggressively or saying “you know what you did”. We often see things differently and might not intuit how you’re feeling.

Of course nobody who is hurt owes anyone an explanation as to why they are hurt. I’m thinking about this solely from a problem-solving perspective. Or maybe that's just the way I look at it.
