@admin On a philosophical note, we sense the same room. How we perceive it is quite different. The larger point allistics may miss is that, despite their normative socialized interpretation, even THEY don’t perceive the room the same way. They just have more of a shared social expectation of what the room should be. Ultimately, “read the room” is less about “this is how I see the room” and more about ableism and shaming.
