I am amazed at how some academics really do stick to reporting only their work and directly related research in times of global crisis.
I noticed that starkly during the pandemic, and again, now.
I'm even more amazed when it is social scientists and researchers on issues of equity and marginalisation or global affairs.
Maybe I am not focused enough. They also seem to be getting out reams of publications. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
