Originally built for use in the 1930’s by Japan, it was later seized by Russians and used during World War II, powered by nuclear power. During the 1990’s and the fall of communism, the lighthouse became vacant and has since been abandoned....

It seems the moderator who originally created this community is no longer around....

Tucked away in the basement of a still open mall. Originally a bomb shelter, the space was converted in to a retail space. In 2000 they sealed it off and it’s sat dormant since.
