Same private trackers I used for a decade now (since 30th November 2009), plus some newer ones when some (tv) shut down

Autobrr, sonar, radarr, Jackett, jellyfin

@killeronthecorner@lemmy.world avatar

I’d love to join a private tracker but I literally have no idea where to start.

null,

Same – happy to seed as needed, but no idea how to find a good, general private tracker for shows and movies

crimsdings,

Digitalcore is currently open (.club) scenetime was open aswell recently

They are fine for the beginning. morethentv for tv, nebulance for tv

Private-hd for tv and movies in … hd

Torrent leech for everything scene

Usually having one decent profile (ratio) helps you to get into other trackers

I have become a streaming junkie since I got a chromecast. I even stream pirated shit I already pirated and saved to a drive. Actually streaming pirated shit I already downloaded and saved to a drive years ago. I just hope certain apps remain available for this magic forever. I think it’s key to own a dumb TV (not a smart TV). I don’t need no 4K. Got me a Ch-cast HD. Got me some wi-fi. Got me some Stremio.

Sharpiemarker, to piracy in What type of piracy do you use the most?

So I set up i2pd on my Android phone, but I’m not sure how to torrent over i2pd. Mostly I use a VPN on my phone with libretorrent. I used to seedbox most everything.

Strict3443,

You can try using BiglyBT on android following these instructions: github.com/BiglySoftware/BiglyBT/wiki/I2P#user-co…

Otherwise, I’d suggest using a desktop to run i2psnark, BiglyBT, or qBittorrent and use i2pd along with those clients.

Sharpiemarker,

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll give it a shot.

I’ll go for boost now. I keep back and forth between boost, sync and eternity but the end I feel home with boost.

I hope jerboa (OG client) will be better.

Sigmatics, to guildwars2 in Does Anet Nerf Every Class Next Patch? [Poll]

They did. Except Guardian.

KingOfNoobs, to asklemmy in What Lemmy Client(s) Do You Use?

I’m trying Voyager but how do you switch to only subscribed communities?

deadbeef79000, to asklemmy in What Lemmy Client(s) Do You Use?

Firefox.

xusontha,

That isn’t a lemmy client… do you mean Lemmy-UI (the default UI)?

deadbeef79000,

Yeah. Just whatever my home instance’s web front end is.

learningduck,

You can install Voyager PWA through FF if that count. In using Voyager btw

smellythief,

Not just FF though. I have a few installed via Vivaldi. I imagine other browsers can too right? Not sure why FF specifically gets mentioned regarding this.

learningduck,

Yup any browser can. I guess the reply that mention FF just use the browser to browse Lemmy, but using FF PWA just happen to match how I use it.

I’m using the standard UI on web and Jerboa on mobile, but I’m going to try alternate web UIs like Photon and Alexandrite and find a good one that also works as a PWA so I can use the same client both on my computer and on my phone. I’d much prefer to use the same client across computer, tablet and phone.

xusontha,

I personally use Photon, and it’s PWA is pretty good

Xylight,
@Xylight@lemmy.world avatar

Photon supports a PWA!

smellythief,

Yeah I wish Alexandrite had a PWA…

Lowered_lifted, to asklemmy in What Lemmy Client(s) Do You Use?

I was using Jerboa and Thunder when Jerboa got buggy but this thread turned me on to Voyager which seems to work best amongst them, although I don’t love the theme.

Anti_Weeb_Penguin, to asklemmy in What Lemmy Client(s) Do You Use?

I used to like LiftOff but it started to get buggy after a while, then i switched to Eternity since i used Infinity when i was in Reddit but i didn’t like it so i ended up using Voyager which is preety good so far.

Nougat, to asklemmy in What Lemmy Client(s) Do You Use?

Is there an option for “none”?

bonn2,

That would be Lemmy-UI aka the website

xusontha,

If you don’t use a client then you can’t access Lemmy, the website is considered a client (Lemmy-UI)

ThatGuy, to asklemmy in [POLL] Do you use/require a headphone jack on your phone?

Man I can only dream of a new pixel having a headphone jack. And ain’t no way I’m getting off grepheneos.

Kxeo, to asklemmy in [POLL] Do you use/require a headphone jack on your phone?

I wish my tablet had a headphone jack. I have to use an adapter but I would want one on there by default. I haaaaate bluetooth headphones. Too much delay. And no, I don’t have a phone.

xNekoyaki, to asklemmy in [POLL] Do you use/require a headphone jack on your phone?
@xNekoyaki@lemmy.world avatar

I use bluetooth earbuds for work - I used wired buds up until this job, but I ended up constantly ripping them out of my ear by accident, UUUUGGGGHHHHHH. But I would still be using wired if I could. My husband also uses wireless earbuds at work, but needs a headphone jack to play music through his ancient work truck. He had an adapter while he had a phone w/o a jack, but then he couldn’t charge his phone while listening to music. I know there are splitters out there, but we didn’t end up buying one, and he just replaced his phone with a new one that includes a headphone jack.
