Just updated this under desk mount I designed for my Apple MacBook charger. I like the aesthetic of this design but I’m still not happy with the print quality because of the need for supports, and the overhangs of the curved base can be a challenge....
Even though most of the work was done by someone else, I’m still kind of proud of this print. I dipped my toes into the water and edited the design in Blender to improve the design. I’ll upload the cube tomato in a month or so when it grows into the mold....
V1. - 08/23/2023 - Rails to print that allow you to fit a Harbor Freight Storage Parts Case into an Ikea Trofast. 2 different size rails, one for left and one for right. labels I designed for my iced coffee bottles. I couldn’t keep straight which was fill or drink. Probably should have used darker color filament....
It seems that most of the drywall mounts that I looked for printed in a vertical orientation, which is not good for strength....

So currently I am thinking about organizing space around my 3D printers. I know Gridfinity from Zacks YT. But while looking for solutions for 2020 extrusions, I found this gem. Looks slightly better than basic base plates. Wonder what you think about it
