they work great with Clementine, too, which is cross-platform. and with a SD/flash adapter and Rockbox, the older models can still be capable little devices today. rockbox, at least, does start to chug a little with dynamic playlists over several thousand songs, though…
We should just boycott Apple store, there's alternatives without jailbreaking. Also, Apple never respected us when we review bomb reddit, Apple is hiding apps while putting paid service first, does not remove actual scam apps after they were reported for 100 times, zero accountability on cheap apps that should never be in iphones and Apple restriction on their dumb iphone.

Same for me. Can’t bare to use an app called « X », and forcing dark mode is a no-go for me. Besides, I don’t like the roadmap they presented (shopping, video platform, it’s not what Twitter was meant to be). I was not very active anymore, but still enjoyed the content though. It’s not the end of the world, I will change my habits.
What's the use case for this? Why would I want to replace the keyboard/trackpad with a screen? What will I display on that bottom part that's more useful than having physical keys?

It's funny that the author didn't think to try Music.app instead of doinking about in Finder. I just did this a couple of weeks ago with my own iPod Classic: Music supports iPod sync just fine. (Yes, still!)
