Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to gardening, this is my first year attempting to plant anything and I planted some peony bulbs. I was just wondering why some are sprouting so far away from where I planted them? For instance in the pic I planted at X and I've circled where it decided to pop up. Is this common?...
Here’s a close up picture of the print itself: imgur.com/a/flJjhGs. It’s printed in PETG with 40% infill. I printed it first in PLA, but then it snapped immediately (thankfully not on my face). The only reason why I didn’t use PETG from the get go was that I actually didn’t know you could print it without an enclosure....
I’m still new on this stuff but I thought a few pictures could help clear out a bit of confusion, I sacrificed technical accuracy (hopefully not too much) to make it simple. Let me know what you think....
I thought it might be fun to have the community icons lean into the beehive theming, so I made some mock-ups as a proof of concept of how they could look. I also made a logo with a more simplified bee and more of a cowboy motif
This was a recent one, kind of the start of refinishing furniture with the intent to give it away on our local Buy Nothing -type page. We found this old kid-sized chair on the curb on garbage day. The finish (some kind of shellac, I think) was peeling or gone in places, the wood was a bit weathered, scuffed, and water stained....
I’ve been working on a proxy that makes it possible for 3rd party Reddit apps to connect to Lemmy with minimal code changes. Ideally all that’s needed is to swap out the url for that of the proxy. Naturally it’s open source....
I think my prompt was: 3D print, trending on Thingiverse or Printables.
This was an interesting one – we found this table on the curb on garbage day. The finish on the tabletop was peeling and rough. Possibly from water damage? We knew it would be challenging because the surface had a very thin wood veneer on it, but it wasn’t likely to be taken by anyone else in this condition so we lugged it...
I was playing around with the new Beta’s. I really love how more iOS it’s like with the smoothness and transition.
