I think uncertainty plays a big role here.

You could bump a line and smoke a pack a day and get to 90.

You could do nothing harmful and die at 30.

Even if you make it to 90 avoiding lots of fun, was it worth it or would you rather trade 20 years for more fun?

At the end of the day it is a matter of personal risk tolerance towards an impossible to quantify risk.

Ich fahre meistens ICE, weil ich geschäftlich keine 12h am Tag in einer Bummelbahn unterwegs sein kann.

Ich hab für eine Dienstreise neulich geschaut und war ohne Taxi zum endgültigen Ziel und ohne Bus zum Bahnhof bereits bei über 50 Cent pro KM und doppelter Reisezeit.

Weiß nicht mit welchen KM da gerechnet wurde, aber die Zahlen sind schon hanebüchen für jeden, der nicht 5 Tanks im Monat verbläst.

Versicherung und Reparatur sind vllt max 2k im Jahr, wenn mal was größeres ist. Steuer ist marginal niedrig.

Wertverlust ist auch nicht wirklich viel, wenn man sein Auto pflegt und einen gebrauchten holt.

Also hätte man noch 10k im Jahr offen für Benzin Oder Diesel. Damit kann man einiges fahren. Und auf den Kilometer gerechnet dann auch deutlich günstiger als mit den öffentlichen.

Double that for animated series. No one is an artist here because a lot of stuff is already automatically generated.

You’re not an artist because you can draw what someone else tells you. Maybe a craftsman at best.
