Isle of Wight based picture seller. I run a small gallery selling my husband's landscape photography. Previously I worked as a project worker in a centre for the homeless and rootless and later in homeless prevention/tenancy support. I tend to post photos of the Isle of Wight , boost other photos that appeal to me, share what music I'm (and others I follow) are listening to. In my case it's usually rock! Give me nature, animals, music, vegan food, Coventry City FC and I'm happy!

I try to be very positive and cheerful about my profession: teaching. It's a fluffing tough job and you have to see the best in it - every lesson, every day, every student. And it can be the most rewarding and important job a person could do. But, my goodness, today was a challenge. When your leaders don't seem to care about their staff and are actively making it more difficult for you, you just get worn down. But. Tomorrow is a new day. Always. @edutooters

@hlseward @edutooters my son is in his GCSE year and I have an online parents evening tomorrow. His teachers are giving him every opportunity to succeed with their dedication and encouragement. Respect to teachers, I could never do what you do!

Morning all and welcome to Friday!

What is everybody looking forward to spinning this weekend?

I’ll be having a few play throughs of Blur’s Ballad of Darren. Pre-ordered, arrived, then went on holiday, so haven’t heard it yet!

@revivalrecords @vinylrecords You won't be disappointed as it's excellent.
Keeping with the Blur connection I'm going to listen to the Waeve.

There is very little light pollution at this location and my husband took advantage of the clear conditions to grab this shot.

Those steps are a bit of a killer when you're heading back up from the beach!

My husband had to wait for 6 years to capture this view of .

Taken as the set at 4.30 am last summer. This shot is only possible a couple of times each year. He almost had it in 2016 but it was slightly too breezy and the telephoto lens couldn't keep in focus.

It causes controversy as some think it's fake, I promise you that it is not. It involved much research, persistence and luck with the weather! It's the cover shot on our 2024 calendar
