looking at car manufacturers paywalling acceleration n stuff, i am starting to think i gotta look for the best jailbreak / opensource firmware project options if i ever consider an electric car… similar to the android world… i hope that is or going to be an option

@milan having an open source automotive control system? That’s a big order. We are talking real time critical hardware and software. There is comma.ai which does level 2 autonomous driving well. However, I’m not aware of a working open source automotive management system.
