I recall when I first watched this episode, I thought that Garak was an interesting character and I hoped we would see more of him on the show. I'm glad he returned and became an integral part of the show. Garak would become my favorite DS9 recurring character.
One of the nice aspects of this episode was that it had Data in command of the Enterprise-D for most of the episode.
Picard used the alias "Galen" while he was part of the mercenary group. I think that is a reference to Professor Galen, one of his Academy teachers who we saw in "The Chase".
Can't beat a bit of Agatha Christie for some comfort reading. Found all these books at my local library last month - I have read all the Agatha Christie ones and looking forward to reading 'A Thousands Ships' and 'The Foundling' next 📚❤️
I genuinely sometimes worry I have too many books but I have just read that Edward Gorey amassed a collection of about 25000 books and still professed that "There's no such thing as too many books" so I have a way to go 📚☺️📚
Following the example of the German government and the European Commission, the government of the Netherlands is now running their own Mastodon server! No middlemen between them and their constituents! Welcome @minbzk!
