Tonight's fun fact: One of the guest stars for this episode is James Worthy, who played the Klingon, Koral.

Worthy was a former NBA basketball star in the '80s - early '90s, playing for the Los Angeles Lakers for his entire career. He won 3 NBA titles as part of the "Showtime" Lakers.

That was a good scene in the Captain's ready room with Data and Worf. Data was dissatisfied with Worf questioning his orders in front of the crew. Data was firm with his expectations, provided his reasons why Worf was not meeting them and offered to reassign him to Tactical.

A couple of quick notes:

  1. One of the nice aspects of this episode was that it had Data in command of the Enterprise-D for most of the episode.

  2. Picard used the alias "Galen" while he was part of the mercenary group. I think that is a reference to Professor Galen, one of his Academy teachers who we saw in "The Chase".
