Yeah, I don’t think I should know this. They all sound ridiculous out loud and there would never be an appropriate time to use this in a conversation without someone rolling their eyes.

EDIT: Also “Nodus Tollens” pisses me off because it is clearly playing off of Modus Tollens which a real thing that has nothing to do with the definition.

Back to back is functionally impossible. The odds of getting the required boons to just leave the first area is very low. Getting the boons on the right rarity immediately after clearing a run on the highest heat just won’t happen.

Other dev won't follow best practices, is this common?

Hello again, I’m in a situation where the one the senior devs on my team just isn’t following best practices we laid out in our internal documentation, nor the generally agreed best practices for react; his code works mind you, but as a a team working on a client piece I’m not super comfortable with something so fragile...

It shouldn’t be up to another engineer to fix their PRs. They wrote the code, they are responsible for making sure it is in a state to merge. If it’s not, request changes and move on to your work.
