…and I still need to find a proofreader for my toots. It’s damn amazing how I can look at a sentence and think it’s fine and 2 minutes after I post it, I clearly see all the misspellings and extra words.

Houston, we have lift off

Video in a shop where people are using a screwdriver and condensed air to rev up a gear just the size of the long, square metal pipe on the floor. It gets going fast by the time they let 'er fly.

Microwaving CDs 💿 in the work microwave (do not try this at home) made some fun patterns in the substrate.. it really is a spiral recording!

I took my dog for a walk this morning and saw something I realized I hadn’t seen in a while: a bee. Not a yellow jacket, not a carpenter bee, not a hornet - an actual honeybee.

@jerry Thankfully we've had a lot of bees in our pollinator flowers all spring and summer. Not huge numbers, but more than a few, enough to stay hopeful that we are stable-ish here in MN
