I recently downloaded After Effects from 4DOWNLOAD, and I tried to install it. But when it installs and I execute the program, it still asks me the Adobe ID, the program is NOT pre-cracked, so I suppose I didn't crack it succesfully, and the web doesn't have any specific instructions, that's why i'm asking here....
The path to free adobe software is in GenP, here have a guide (it's got other patching methods).
Otherwise most download websites like 4download have "Portable" versions that you just extract and run. I find the site appnee.com is good for those. (but i do find portable ones are often slower maybe it was just me).
You are correct most often precracked just need to be installed, look for the download page for instructions if there's no readme. Patches are often .exe's that you run and cracks are files you can drag and drop into the installation folder (there are exceptions of course)
And even if your pc can't run it there are always cloud hosted installs [update]: seems as /u/Deckname mentioned below, colab changed their service terms to disallow running SD. :(

Been using Keepass, and it seems like a solid choice for local password vault. It's not as convenient at other vaults like bitwarden (unless there's a browser extension i could use), and i dont know how the android side of it looks.
