wobblywombat,

I think you're missing the points about scale and marginal utility. If you have more food than 3 generations of your family will ever eat, and continue to take more while others are starving, you can make a moral argument that maybe you shouldn't have so much food. Much less continue to try and get more. It becomes more egregious when you, say, take food from your employees who don't always have enough.

VectorSocks,

Because it implies that basic, milquetoast progressive values are "far left".

Nice to see the Fediverse hasn't lost that certain charm

Religious can deny service to gays? I can deny service to religious bigots! SCOTUS conservative majority rules in favor of web designer that denied service to gay couple. (kbin.social)

Based on this SCOTUS ruling, as an #atheist, I can now deny service to a religious person... I mean, it should go both ways, if a religious person can deny service to a gay couple, I can deny service to a religious bigot!...

"Antiwoke" magazin on kbin.social posting bullshit like "how to end Wokeness" and "Time to reject the extrem trans lobby harming our society" How to report ? he is the moderator of that magazin. (calckey.social)

@ernest how do I report a Magazin on kbin.social ? There is a usere called "ps" who is posting to his own "antiwoke" Magazin on kbin.social. Please remove this and dont give them a chance to etablish them self on kbin.social. When I report his stuff it will go to him because he is the moderator of the magazin? Seems like a...

Chetzemoka,

Listen, there are so many legitimate criticisms of Reddit, no one needs to make things up. This happens every year in June. Somebody posts about Tiananmen, some automod or real mod removes it, someone screams "Reddit" is censoring things.

There are tons of posts about Tiananmen that are still up after years. Tencent owns a small minority stake in Reddit.

Wow thanks for posting, what a read. I suspected average employees would not like what is going on.

I can relate, up until recently I was in a company whose product and decisions I strongly disliked and browsing r/antiwork like wild to cope. I was close to burnout due to the mismanagement and work heaped on me.

Until eventually something in me snapped and I went and found a better job. Is everything good here? God no, but my current manager is nice and my workload more manageable for now and I learned I have options if it grows unmanageable again, a lot of options actually.

So thanks for those who keep posting to move on as well, it‘s a bit repetitive and perhaps obvious, but useful nonetheless for those who don‘t see it yet.

Though if one loves the product and coworkers and work and the main shit thing is the management, maybe a union would be the more useful solution. It‘s a good way to influence some of these decisions, perhaps what makes my current employer better is the presence of a union.

someguy3,

I don't care for Deep Space 9.

Characters were mostly bad and uninteresting - they had to bring back worf. Limited plots stuck on a station - they had to add a ship. Then start a war just to have something to do.

Now THIS is a bold claim. DS9 is the only consistently beloved Star Trek series I've seen online. I personally enjoyed it more than most of the series.

julianh,

I think this the only other truly unpopular opinion here lmao.
