Interesting, but sadly Audire uses non-free API for the recognition (Shazam and AUDD).
I don’t know how feasible it would be to create an open platform to store audio fingerprints for recognition, and even better if it could be downloaded and used locally for more privacy. From what I remember when I explored this some time ago, AcoustID isn’t a good candidate for live recognition like Shazam and SoundHound does.
Personally I find the milanese loop with a magnetic holder is a great in-between for a casual yet comfortable look.
If the watch doesn’t have the standard lugs I get an adapter kit so that I can use whatever standard watchband is on the market so that I don’t find myself limited to specific watchband for that model (smartwatches are bad for this…)
Once installed it will fit however tight you want, and it will loosen itself if it’s way too tight when doing something a bit physical.
There are other Prime Gaming listings in this community, and I already pay for Prime for other stuff so for me it’s an added bonus, as I get to keep it later even if I unsub later on.
Anyway, I wanted to highlight the availability to those who can grab it before it expires.
In order to make any kind of devices able to visualize the map, the tile server will distribute rasterized tiles, which are easy to process even on a low-powered device. The drawback is that those tiles need to be generated by the server and more importantly stored. A tile of the entire earth zoomed out will not take a lot of storage, but the higher you zoom, the more tiles you need. If you don’t put a higher limit to the zoom level ,it will take an exponential amount of storage on the server, which is a problem.
Imagine if we doubled that to 90$/year. Hopefully they could free themselves up from having to serve ads to make ends meet, and make the news network free for all.
