At rest, the average body consumes 20% to 25% of the body's energy. That equates to 350 to 450 calories for the average person. The energy comes mainly from glucose.

@ScruffyDux @actuallyautistic diet/nutrition is a completely different spectrum, and just as varied and nuanced.

Unfortunately, it also get as much support and reasearch as autism, so many of us suffer even more.

"Just lose/gain weight" is very similar to "Just be 'normal'"
