@jerry the Fairmont in SF has a Tiki room with pool, it’s pretty cool and one of my favorite spots in the world. Lots of memories of that part of the city and hotel.

@jerry I am currently spending a lot of time the last 2 months with a few “AI” companies and it seems to me AI is either some form of transcription service that feeds LLMs or a label slapped on an old product that is not AI but will be someday.

@jerry there is a solution to this now and it’s called occupational lenses. They can craft lenses that are specific to your usage. I spend most time in front of a screen or reading so my primary glasses are fully built for that function so it’s the opposite issue of that feeling looking up. But let me tell you I shared a browser window in zoom today and made everyone ask if I had superpowers.

It’s here, despite the speculation I would not live to see this day, I have made it to 50 years old.

The shear size difference downsizing from a 32” FHD to a 27” FHD has made my desk more livable for sure

After a few working hours, the change has been good. Now, to figure out which 4k 27" to get for a more flexible work life.

I am still looking around but it's mostly waiting for some sales, I have a few picked out.
