Trying out Infinity for Lemmy, for some reason the awards dialog still exists untouched from the reddit version, wonder what it does now

Tested it, the app crashes and it permanently fucks up the theming

Leah is such a troll. She even contacts youtubers to make videos about her. Then they collectively attack GNU developers who are actually doing the right thing.

@redstarfish what if the crack installs proprietary software in your firmware?

2.38 is out 🎉

Among other things like strlcpy & strlcat (I know, right?), it includes many fixes and improvements in the port, and a brand new x86_64-gnu (aka 64-bit Hurd) port!

https://sourceware.org/pipermail/libc-alpha/2023-July/150524.html

Yet some of my proposed patch sets didn't make it into 2.38, so expect more in 2.39 😉

@bugaevc wait, there's a 64 bit version of the hurd now?

I have 87 hours on my #factorio save using the mod "Pneumatic Transport" which makes everything a fluid. I haven't gotten to blue science yet. I'm still building up train stations, which I am terrible at. Trying again to do it without LTN. Ugh. Fun!

@Alice_and_A is this a recent mod? Sounds interesting, have had ideas about a similar mod

There should be a "pants on fire" emoji. Who can I submit this to? Is there a Prime Minister of Emojis?

One thing that I really like about https://lemmy.world is that they integrated mlmym as well, so I can just go to https://old.lemmy.world and get the more compact interface :) Still I'm mainly using my programmer.dev account though :p

kspatlas,
@kspatlas@social.linux.pizza avatar

@sotolf would rather not use lemmy world, centralization of the fediverse is bad

1 size 🔌to fit them all 📱 💻 📷 🎧

By 2024, the USB-C port will be mandatory for all portable electronic devices in the EU.

This means that you will soon be able to recharge most of your devices with the same charger, making piling up bundles of cables a thing of the past.

Not only will this make your life easier, but it will also reduce greenhouse gas emissions and e-waste.

Learn more about the common charger here: https://europa.eu/!hwjj3G

@EU_Commission what about things like solar powered electronics? Would those require a USB-C port or is there an exception for those
