uhh i just realized so many of my latest posts were techposts about fedi i'm half worried people are gonna think i'm an actual serious fedi dev or something

i just run my own instance which has a few janky patches so i can t hrow tomatoes to downvote annoying lemmy posts

Post importing is now available in the develop branch

The following posts imports are supported:

1. Mastodon/Pleroma/Akkoma
2. *key (this includes all misskey forks including firefish)
3. Instagram
4. Twitter

Instance admins can also disable/enable the importing for users on per-role.

@Marie let me ask the inevitable question: will it annoy everyone i've previously interacted with or does it work properly?

@Marie i guess it's fine for my use case considering i'm selfhosting and can only annoy people through federation but wouldn't that still cause any issues for multi-user instances?
