Unfortunately it seems like development on Tumblr has been reduced to a skeleton crew. I wouldn’t hold my breath for ActivityPub integration on that front now.
The path forward I think would be some sort of a bridge service. Think of it as a translation layer that could take in updates from both ActivityPub and AT, and present to the opposing side like it were native. Something similar was developed for nostr to communicate with the fediverse, and it seems at least feasible in this case as well.
Seems like there is a lot of people in this thread that are confused about BlueSky federating even means. BlueSky’s plans for federation have nothing to do with the fediverse. It’s about enabling federation with other AT protocol services, including self-hosting a personal data server.

Would love to see them come to the fediverse, even if it was just something as simple as a bot. Their site is all RSSed up though. Can sub to the whole site here: aftermath.site/feed

I feel like I wrote this post from time to time on Reddit and I think I’ll start this tradition here. I’m. a Honor Harrington fan. I’ve read several other space operas and they always fall short. The three that came close were Lt. Leary, Kris Longknife and Vorkosigan saga. Lt. Leary was nice, but it failed on World...
I wouldn’t say it is “packed with action” but I have to recommend the Revelation Spaces series by Alastair Reynolds, just because I think more people should be reading these.
I have soon finshed all of The Expanse (which I have enjoyed immensely) and last month I finished Peter F Hilton’s Pandoras Star. While I enjoyed the second half of Pandoras Star, they (it’s a trilogy) are such heavy books with rather slow pace. One of my favorite reads last year was Recursion by Blake Crouch - it’s fast...
I would usually recommend some Alastair Reynolds to anybody into science fiction. I always suggest starting with House of Suns because it’s a stand-alone novel that is really good and will give you a pretty good idea of what to expect from his writing. But his Revelation Space series is where the bulk of his writing is. However, I wouldn’t call his work fast paced. So you might not get into it.
I have recently been reading the Murderbot Diaries. They are extremely easy and enjoyable reads. Could definitely give those a try.
If you enjoyed Recursion, you would probably like another book by Blake Crouch, Dark Matter.

Book suggestion: LONG Space Opera (or sci-fi or cyberpunk) packed with action and cool characters
