My pharmacy is having problems acquiring Dexamphetamine and are offering me (the more expensive) Attentin instead.
Anyone had experience with the latter?

@Richard_Littler @actuallyadhd Looks like that is a brand of atomoxetine? That's a completely different medication -- it's not even a stimulant. It only works for a small minority of people with whereas stimulants work for 80% of people. It also take a month or two to start working. If they feel comfortable giving you a completely different medication, surely they could at least offer you a different stimulant, like vyvanse, adderall, methylphenidate, branded dex like Tentin, etc.

@TristanB @Richard_Littler @actuallyadhd Yeah, when I tried it I lost interest in everything except sitting on the couch. Apparently when it works it really works -- but when it doesn't, well, yeah, it really doesn't
