I already have very few clothes and next to no books or games. I don’t eat meat and drink tap water 99% of the time. I’m not on any subscription service and buy a new game maybe twice a year if that. And I donate 1/3 of my “disposable” income to charities.

Me too, I know it’s not a popular opinion on here (for good reason) but this should put more pressure on PlayStation and drive competition there, make gsmepass more attractive and hopefully shake things up at Activision blizzard which could go either way, but worth the risk given how shitnthey currently are.
Most US adults couldnt tell you what LLM stands for, nevermind tell you how stable diffusion works. So theres not much point in asking them as they wont understand the benefits and the risks
And every other company will try the same thing until people get apathetic and the backlash becomes manageable, then more companies will follow suit because theres money to made until eventually its just the norm and most people dont give a shit or actively defend it because “They’re a business, they need to make money somehow!!!” or some other apologist bullshit.
Its the same way we went from Bethesda Horse armour being a big deal that people pushed back against, to the same type of shitty DLC being the expected industry norm now.
