@nddev @independentpen @eo @actuallyautistic I work in healthcare and your job is to never be able to focus at all at any point at work and do 5 things at once and do them perfectly. All I can say is that someone will die and patients do. Corporations would rather pay out death law suits than increase pay and staffing. Its not normal to do 2 things at once. This is why the wealthy hire low paid assistants to do that for them.

They grow up in this social media fantasy where social justice is cool but nothing prepares you for the white supremacy of progressive friends. Nothing. It'll shock you to the point where you require medication. Prepare your kids early it will not traumatize them. Not knowing is the trauma.

@KorraSaqqara @bookstodon This is a sad day and I'm sorry for the "victims". We could all be thrown away like garbage when we "reach the ice floes". I remember the first time I lost a job to an 18 year old, I was 36. 36. And I haven't worked full time past 25 after the housing crisis. Talent and hard work mean very little in the US from my experience. So many dazzling artistic literary giants, gone.

The greedy ones have made sure nothing survives for our grandchildren. I've experienced toxic workplace and on ocassion good ones but either way, it's not sustainable. The bulldogs at the top and creatives at the bottom.

Providing someone with the means to give back at their discretion while they live lavishly still appears to be a form of trickle down. If it's so effective, we can trickle up--don't worry, we'll provide formerly wealthy people with exactly enough as determined by us 😂

@alan @DarkMatterZine @JohnShirley2023 @HLGEM @KorraSaqqara @bookstodon Its not individual per say, so while all wealthy people benefit from rape, murder, poverty and trauma--as individuals they may not see any other option than to keep their wealth despite the harm it causes society. They may have been born into this system. They may also know that creating wealth is not possible and so the cycle continues.

One thing that has remained stable is their ability to live comfortable lives while actively abusing women of color. The ones that don't terrorize us, watch us die slowly. Ask any comfortable white person if they've ever stepped on a POC and watch their rx. A lot of dead bodies line their gold pockets.

@EgyptianAphorist @bookstodon I have extreme complex racial PTSD. But just plain generic PTSD is so misunderstood by professionals that I don't think I'll ever have treatment for racial PTSD in my lifetime. I am resigned to have this monkey on my back for life and it's not looking like I'll make it most days. So I absolutely feel for and understand anyone who has experienced complex trauma even if I don't say anything. I am always fighting their battles in small ways. So no one is alone.
