Is it correct that as pet travel is concerned, Northern Ireland is viewed as an EU country?
E.g. as a non-Ireland citizen (but resident) I can take my dog with his currently valid rabies vaccination and EU pet passport to Northern Ireland?

Thank you.

Until recently (or the last time I checked after Brexit) EU residents in Ireland (as opposed to Irish citizens) were not allowed to travel to Northern Ireland with their pets without extra and complicated fuss.
This makes a huge difference.
