This makes me wish noscript wasn’t a game every time I loaded a new site. What a pain in the ass to figure out how to make the site load properly without loading garbage scripts.
You might have a hard time on a pi if transcoding occurs. Use something like pymedusa and couch potato for automatic downloads of tv shows and movies, and something like transmission for a torrent client. They all have docker images. Check out linuxserver.io
YouTube makes sense to me. People in some areas, maybe more back in the day, would call TVs “the tube”. YouTube is a tube…for you. You’re su subscriptions etc.
I download everything from a private torrent tracker, and stream with plex. It’s all a pretty well oiled machine. I can use a browser or an app to search for a movie then shortly after I’m streaming to my tv from my nas
I always bounce between fluxbox, plasma, and gnome. There was also another one I liked but it was a pain to configure from scratch and it was similar to fluxbox but I forgot the name. Everything is keyboard shortcuts and it’s a tiling manager.
This is what I never understood. Also how can this not lead to issues being compromised downloading illegal stuff from your service provider who knows exactly which customer has which IP at which time?
