The prez of West Texas A&M Uni has a confusing proposal for a "textbook-free campus".

He clarified that he means "textbook-free, not free textbooks." Hence () won't satisfy him. But he encourages OER as if they would.

Faculty criticized him for “encouraging [them] to invest significant time” in creating “ materials" (OER) rather than using or improving materials from publishers.

This is an entire bed of Sombrero coneflower. These are not the tiny ones I posted earlier (Sombrero Poco). The color of this bed was incredible.

We saw guara throughout the Ball display gardens in both annual and perennial plantings. It is an awesome plant to combine with others. (The "filler" in the classic filler/spiller/thriller combo)

@PJD65 @gardening I can't find any USDA zone info anywhere, but the below link says it matures in 5-10 years, so I'm guessing it's not truly an annual. They appear to have been around for quite awhile. At least as far as the different websites I found. Intriguing plant, for sure. https://beechmount.ie/product/hydrangea-tabletensia-pink/
