PhD Candidate | History of Early Modern Science and Technology, Art & Material Culture | Columbia University, New York. I'm starting an informal, online working group for PhD students and early career scholars who are working on early-modern (and medieval) metals & metalworking, and who want to discuss their work in a safe, collaborative space.

I'd love to hear from those who are interested in joining!
My email can be found on the website page linked in my mastodon profile. 1/2

We'll meet online, say once a month, to discuss (pre-circulated) work, exchange ideas, share advice, and give feedback. Participants can submit, for instance, a draft of a dissertation chapter or journal article, a grant proposal, a conference paper, a syllabus, or hold a mock-job talk. 2/2

#Dürer day at the @hab_wf Summer school! Happy as a kid, and moved to tears when I finally got to see a copy of Dürer's Underweysung der Messung, thanks to Thomas Schauerte and the @hab_wf
