Has anyone seen an implementation of scanning and machine evaluating multiple choice exams that is not terrible for students?

Things I don't like:

  • requiring separate answer sheet (error-prone)
  • unstapling multiple page exams for scanner
  • exam not physically corrected, harder for students to review their exam afterwards

Asking for a friend...

@modrak_m @academicchatter the closest I've seen is ZipGrade, but that stilk has a separate answer sheet as far as i know.

Is there like, a teacher BBS or something?

10 years ago, teacher Twitter was extremely helpful to me. There's the hashtag here, which is nice, but are most people still on X? Or worse, Facebook?

Trying to build that side of my timeline back up. Boots appreciated along with recommendations of who to follow.
