Question

I'm planning to knit a blanket for my mother-in-law who has been in and out of the hospital for a very long time now.

I would like to do a brioche project (as that is new to me still) so I found these two contestants. Which one would you prefer? Or any other patterns you would recommend?

I'm planning to use a light blue and light grey yarn.
