  • On the feed screen, tap the 3-line menu at the top left
  • Select Settings
  • Scroll down to the Community filter setting
  • Type the strings you want to exclude, followed by a comma
  • Exit and reopen Connect, then open a feed to see if the communities with the strings in their name are excluded

Another “tip”… If your fingertip is dry, lightly moisten it, then try the sensor again.

My 7a fingerprint sensor with a Spigen glass screen protecter works fine about 95% of the time. When it doesn’t, quick lick of the fingertip and that usually does the trick.

For customizability, I currently use AnySoftKeyboard, and also like Florisboard (although waiting on next word suggestion).

Thanks @esty ! The export worked well (ran LASIM on Windows), and the JSON file contains my followed communities and profile settings. Wish I had this prior to the Vlemmy outage 🤕
